Develop Digital Trust Law
Modernise and extend current ICT regulatory framework including Digital Trust. The Digital Trust Law will aim to ensure that individuals and organizations can confidently use digital technology and services as well as provide them the legal ability to obtain information regarding technologies applied in building and providing them digital services. This will encourage innovation, promote transparency and enhance reliability and security.
Targeted ADA goals
- Goal 2.3 - Improve access to basic telecommunications services.
- Goal 2.7 - Personal data protection of users.
- Goal 2.8 - Enhance cybersecurity in the Arab region.
- Goal 3.4 - Monitor the contribution of the ICT sector to the national economy.
- Goal 4.8 - Increase the efficiency and quality of infrastructure used in the provision of e-government services.
- Goal 4.9 - Increase the efficiency of the health sector through ICT.
